jacob
Some people had them preseason top 10. Why have they fallen so much????/
Kurt Cobain
To me they lost some very close games the only game I saw on schedule that they should are really did won was East Webster. Those other games was close very close seen like I could be a play or two from winning those games. jacob
Just curious 2021-2022 season they moved down to 2A. In 3A they were pretty competitive In 2019 they played for North Half 3A. Since being in 2A they have a record 9-9. Is the talent level gone down or 3A tougher than 2A?

They dress 72 with 4 potential D1 players. They should kill 2a.
jacob
So its not the level has gone done or 2A competition is that much better???? 72 kids WOW!!!! They also have a kid that made the MS/AL game!!!!!! I thought the current coach was hand picked by Joe Lynn Gant? Very curious situation!!! Saints24
They have a lot of players but not a lot of talent. The biggest problem is the same coaches have been there forever and the head coach can’t build his own staff 2

jacob
Longsnapper??????? So a position player, who has an excellent Jr. and Sr. years, is gonna miss out on a chance to make the team. Heck why not select an offensive or defensive lineman for that spot.

Also, the coaches there have been there for less than 5 years, almost all of them. They misuse talent. #2 receiver in class of 2025, 5 star, averages a little over two total touches a game. Their D1 running back is about 30 lbs overweight and can't have more than 4 carries a drive without getting winded. Kid is 6'1 is strong as hell and the fastest guy on the field every game, but he's way to heavy and gasses out. Saints24
The coaches except for the head coaches, over 3 in 7 years I might add, have been there since consolidation

jacob
Scorebooklive says they have 8 coaches!!! Is that normal for a 2A football? So 3 of the assistant coaches have been on staff since consolidation? That was ten years ago!!!!! I wonder if those 3 coaches came from Weir or Ackerman? Most schools I've seen have 6 or so coaches.
Saints24
The former head coach can tell you all about it. Try to Get rid of some=get rid of you

Dadawg
They have some assistant coaches that are lifers that don't work .. head coach can't get rid of them and the program will be mired in mediocrity until it changes
jacob
Sounds unfortunate for the student-athletes!!!!
Arashatora
I would bet money that the receiver gets poached before next season. Offers by essentially every school in the country, potentially top 10 player in his class. Someone will come grab him.
jacob
So what is the connection between the assistant coaches (lifers) and the administration?
