Vancleave at Long Beach

The call is fIrst touching. It is not a foul. The spot is marked with a bean bag, not a flag. The two balls were the kicked ball being thrown out from the spot of the end of the run and the other ball coming in from the offense to be placed at the spot of first touching.

At this point I'm not disagreeing with you because what you've said seems logical, however, also in this same game, Long Beach touched the ball before going ten yards on a different onside kickoff and Fant for Vancleave chose for Long Beach to re-kick, which resulting in LBHS recovering the second OS kick after moving them back.  So how is it not a penalty if this occurred ??

One of the Long Beach players broke the 40 yard line before the kick. A free kick infraction was called. That foul kills the play. That caused the re-kick.

No excuses. You asked if Vancleave even had a defense. So I explained that the late come back was made against the jv defense. Sounds like you have an issue with a team that hasn’t been historically dominant having a little success and their fan base getting behind them! You just sound dumb!

so let's be straight, saying "no excuses" when you make a bunch of excuses (call them explanations if you like) is kind of like saying "no offense, but your wife is ugly". you can't really say that and not offend.  i don't think you can expect people to take that as anything but excuses when you give a long list of "explanations" as to why the score was so close (even if you say it is not an excuse).

Yeah, maybe I am dumb - or maybe your team just gave up 43 points to a team that hasn't scored that many points since 2019 so it's a reasonable question. I think a lot of people were asking that question when they saw the final score of that game. I was simply asking.

 

To be fair though, I am willing to wait and evaluate myself following your game this Friday night. No excuses.

I didn’t say you were dumb! I said you sound dumb! Again, you asked does Vancleave even have a defense? Because obviously you feel the need to take a dig a people who are excited for there team to be successful! I merely explained that the 3 late TDs that were scored in the fourth quarter to make the game close were scored against the JV. You felt inclined to say that it sounds like a bunch of excuses. With your logic the 2021-2022 5a state champs must’ve had a bad defense because ole sorry Vancleave dropped 42 on em! Picayune may come to the big 57 and drop the hammer on the Bulldogs, but guess what! We’ll still be on here cheering them on! Stay classy!

So are we being literal, splitting hairs or what? Cuz I think you read a hell of a lot into an honest question I asked about a team I had not seen yet that was based upon a game score. I think you read so much into it that you are flat making things up.  and you want to split hairs over your meaning of "you sound so dumb."  give me a break, what are you some kind of a loser?

Look ,you get on here talk a little smack and someone comes back at you and you turn into a petulant child and  go make another thread being sarcastic about Vancleave’s defense!
