Games will be played at Jackson Academy on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Games on Saturday will be at Mississippi College's Robinson-Hale Stadium in Clinton. MAIS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS Wednesday At Jackson Academy CLASS 1A DIVISION I 6 p.m. — River Oaks (La.) (10-0) vs. Humphreys Academy (11-1) Thursday At Jackson Academy CLASS 3A DIVISION II 3 p.m. — Adams Christian (10-3) vs. Marshall Academy (10-2) CLASS 3A DIVISION I 7 p.m. — Tri-County Academy (10-1) vs. Leake Academy (9-2) Friday At Jackson Academy CLASS 1A DIVISION II 10:30 a.m. — DeSoto (Ark.) (9-2) vs. Tallulah (La.) (8-5) CLASS 2A DIVISION I 3 p.m. — Centreville Academy (11-1) vs. Lee Academy (8-3) CLASS 4A DIVISION II 7 p.m. — Parklane Academy (10-1) vs. Heritage Academy (10-2) Saturday At Mississippi College, Clinton CLASS 2A DIVISION II 11 a.m. — Winston Academy (4-8) vs. Oak Hill Academy (9-3) CLASS 4A DIVISION III 3 p.m. — Lamar School (8-4) vs. Brookhaven Academy (8-4) CLASS 4A DIVISION I 7 p.m. — Jackson Academy (10-1) at Hartfield Academy (6-5) This may be the dumbest playoff system in the history of mankind. A 4-8 team playing for a 5th place state championship.
