Enterprise will win region 5 and if we play JDC we will win. Mancuso wont have Hartzog this year.

JDC has not repeated after winning state 'chips in 2017 and 2019. They will be rebuilding this year; they will be kind of like Magee was last year; good but not as good as the year before.

My polls are more accurate than his; he has a lot of teams that are not going to be good ranked very high and some teams that are going to be good not ranked at all.

Enterprise is top five too not that anyone on here think we will do anything.

Enterprise and Raleigh will be a toss up; SC may be slighter better than Enterprise; his small school poll is a joke; NF West Marion are not top five teams. He has NF ranked higher than Raleigh.

OK so you dont even think an Enterprise team that returns 15 starters from a team that went 12-1 should be ranked; but North Forrest? I think they won one game last year and finished dead last in a weak region. Enterprise will be better than all those teams except Scott Central and Raleigh.

Only Raleigh may be better than Enterprise; JDC and Tylertown lose too much. 3A South will be between Enterprise and Raleigh.

Someone has to be # 1; Enterprise is as good as choice as any; Enterprise could go undefeated and win 3A ; nobody knows; all I did was rank Enterprise # 1 in a hypothetical poll; you dont know if there are five teams better than Enterprise or not; we will all find out in December.

No one thought this time last year Enterprise would go 12-1 and beat the defending 3a Champs; until one team plays another you dont know who is better. You are not the first person on this forum to underestimate the E.

I was not aware of that; I will have to reevaluate my 4a poll.

Philadelphia down to 225 students; they headed to 1A status; are a lot of students moving to Neshoba Central? NC seems to be growing and Philly seems to be dropping.

They should hold off until next year; it will create chaos to have some teams in new classes and new regions; I had heard they wouldnt go to seven classes until 2023. That makes sense.

I'm assuming MHSAA will go to seven classes in 2023.

Jimmerson is an Enterprise alum a disciple of LJ Davis so Enterprise will never go to the Spread but if we did we would win 3A easily we will win 3A anyway with the Wing T.

There are a lot of ties between Enterprise and Clarkdale; Coach Soules used to coach at Enterprise; our Principal Bubba Brannan has just been hired to be Clarkdale's coach; the two schools are ten miles apart; the students know each other and a lot of people at Enterprise have relatives at Clarkdale; and we run the same offense.

I was saying Clarkdale didnt beat any good teams; I know Enterprise had a soft schedule but Enterprise won 12 games and the District; that couldnt have gone unnoticed by the Clarkdale administration; Clarkdale came closer to winning the region in 2020 than in 2021; I have friends and relatives at Clarkdale; there were issues with Coach Soules doing poorly with a team that had almost everyone back and Soules not beiing able to beat a rebuilding Enterprise team.

Another thing that didnt help Soules was Jimmerson and Enterprise went 12-1 won the district beat the defending 3a champs went to the 3rd round of the playoffs with a young team while Clarkdale finished 7-4 fourth in district and was bounced in the first round of the playoffs while returning most of the team.

They beat Kemper Co which won the region and almost beat Morton and Forest losing to morton 27-20 and Forest 39-36. They couldnt play SE Lauderdale because of Covid and missed the playoffs; with a few breaks Clarkdale could have won that region in 2020.

Bottom line is they finished fourth in district when they almost won the region year before last and they had most of that team coming back; and another thing Soules never beat Enterprise and a lot of people at Clarkdale felt 2021 was the year to do it because Clarkdale had a lot coming back and Enterprise was losing a lot to graduation. Clarkdale did finish 7-4 which is a good record for Clarkdale but all their wins came against teams that were not good; they lost by double digit margins any good or decent teams they played.

Clarkdale did start out hot winning their first six games but they lost four of their last five and finished fourth in the district and all three region losses were by substantial margins. Maybe some folks at Clarkdale felt they should have done better with what they had coming back last year.

Probably because Clarkdale did not live up to expectations last year.

Moving to seven classes should happen in 2023; as for Simpson Co.; with consolidation of 4A Mendenhall and 3A Magee obviously Simpson Co will be high end 5A/low end 6A; if consolidation happens in 2024 just drop Simpson Co in 5a or 6a.

Morton is or was our first Region game around the first of October; if Morton doesnt have a region opponent we can just leave them on the schedule but with a five team region we will have to schedule someone else or we could just leave it open and have a bye date; thats the middle of the season and at that point a team has some bumps and bruises and we could use a rest before district starts.
