Talked to a lot Choctaw Residents lately. Most think a change is coming but some say be realistic, there will no changes the “lifers are protected”. Roberts has done a lot for the superintendent’s family.

For a guy who hasn't been employed by the school district for more than 20 years Gant till has a lot control over of the superintendent. Makes sure certain people stay employed.

The superintendent has basically ruined the football program at Choctaw. For a 2A school there are 8-9 supplemented coaches on staff. 3 of the coaches just stand around during practice with there arms crossed and talk about the other coaches.

Unfortunately the “lifers” will be there. Superintendent is from Weir. The “lifers” are from Weir. If there was a coaching change, and one the “lifers” got the job half the county would vomit

What's the latest? Heard there was a group parents and residents of Choctaw County, on social media, ready for a change. Things seems to be very tumultuous situation. Its my understanding, residents are for the "lifer" coaching situation to end.

Watched the young man play late in the season, I don't think there was a another player who meant as much to his team as he did. A team that played in a north state championship game.
