I think Morton can make some noise this year in 4A. They've had there ups and downs with a young team but from what I saw last season, they competed and had a chance in every game besides Quitman.

I see Forest dropping their last three district games of the season. I don't think their defense has been tested looking at the teams they have played. Morton has struggled defensively all season and has a very young team but I think they will still make the playoffs.

Wayne County will have their hands full with that Morton squad! I got Morton in a close one.

Jaylin Stowers (Morton High School) is one of the top incoming freshman in Ms. 6’ 185 ATH accounted for 7 tds at Qb in their spring game in just a half of play.

Morton will definitely be a much improved team from last year. They started four 8th graders and three 9th graders the last four games and gave Columbia a run for their money in the playoffs. Quitman maybe the front-runner to win the district right now but don't be surprised if Morton comes out on top.

Dolph McDonald the younger brother to 4 star Wr from Morton Xavier McDonald definitely should be on this list. 6'1 170 tied for the lead in ints (7) in the state at corner.

Watching Columbia since round 1 their passing game is above average. Their Qb gets rattled under pressure. They have a couple weapons on the outside but the key to the game is stopping #8 Fortenberry. If they make it through the next round Louisville will potentially shut them out!

I think Morton should be added to the dark horse conversation as well. They will be very young but talented this year and will compete in 4A south. 2024 and 2025 should be the years they make real noise.

Trust me it won’t be a three way tie. Morton and Union will be playing for the #1 spot after next week. Union has played pretty solid up to this point and Morton who’s been up and down week after week is a formidable opponent.

I’ve seen both play and I will this.. If the Morton team that showed up for Pearl comes to play, Enterprise will be in trouble!
