Caledonia didn’t play very well Thursday night, a lot of mistakes that a team like Itawamba could use to their advantage like last year when we blew a 21 pt lead. 3 and 4 I think may actually be Mooreville and Shannon. That’ll come down to their head to head and Shannon vs Corinth. my guess right now after Mooreville beat Corinth: 1. Caledonia 2. Itawamba 3. Mooreville 4. Shannon Mooreville could surprise us Friday. Itawamba could absolutely win and Shannon too so it’s too early to say. Just hope the boys take it one game at a time. Love this senior class of players - most of them have been playing together since 1st grade. That seems to be showing on both sides of the ball. Tied, winning, or within a couple points at the half and then getting blown out in the second half. Not what it’d have expected from Corinth at all this or any other year. yes I had forgotten or oversaw the fact that Shannon had destroyed Mooreville swap 3 and 4 there then… unless Corinth can find a way to reverse their second half woes. They definitely weren’t as bad as their record and scores indicate, again they just seem to fall apart in the second half. One is the fact that they don't have the depth like in past years to maximize opportunity on both sides of the ball. Two, several of the most experience guys have missed multiple games. Three, Coach Dye had a severe medical condition arise early in the season and hasn't been with the team in a month. He is improving but may never coach again. I wouldn’t want to be 3 or 4. Either of those will head off to see most likely West Lauderdale or Louisville. Both of them are really tough.
