Bulldogs4
Pavia played a great game but got carried away with the language in the post game. He knows better but given the emotion of the moment it is understandable. OTOH, Moore #13 for Bama gets the pacifier award for the weekend. What a spoiled little brat he is. Bear is turning over in his grave. He was adamant that you win and lose with class. Regarding Ole Miss and LSU, I would tend to think this is a must win for Ole Miss. Lose it and you are really up against the eight ball. Two losses early in the season is going to be tough to recover from. That means you have to run the table. That would be a lot to ask of this team. Certainly possible but it would be very difficult.

I feel like every game is a do or die at this point and def need to win games against ranked teams when we face them to better the perception that’s been created with the early season OOC schedule. OM should be favored in every game except the UGA game, although every game could also be a loss……well except State. Lol.

NoWammies
Bama fans on X all day have been saying he was just showing passion and they wished the rest of the team played with it and played like he did. I guess they missed the part where he got beat on two TD’s with one being the 4th and 1. Guess they also missed the part where he grabbed Pavia’s facemask and shoved his head into the ground on the game sealing first down. NoWammies
Saw this on X. It’s crazy that this has happened twice to Tennessee with the QB running out of bounds with no time left on the clock, down by 5, with both drives starting at their 21. NoWammies
Ole Miss has filled the empty spot on next year’s schedule due to Wake Forest backing out with a home game against Washington St.
Bulldogs4
Good for them. Washington State will be more competitive than WF so it should be a much better game.

You're talking about the SECCG, which I really don't care about... I'd like it but whatever. Making the 12 team playoff is more important IMO. IF OM goes 10-2, I'd be pretty surprised if they get left out of the playoffs.
s1nglewing
Army has a pretty decent chance of making that

If not I don’t see them getting in with 2 losses.
NoWammies
Question I have is what happens if both Army/Navy are undefeated when they play last game of the season and the loser of that game turns around and beats the winner of it in the AAC championship? Both would split the head to head, would finish with one loss a piece and both would have wins against Notre Dame.

I'm kidding, kind of... it wouldn't surprise me if Notre Dame got put in due to they couldn't choose between Army/Navy fairly in that scenario. Good laugh. This will be interesting as it very possible that we will have a boatload of teams with 10-2 records or better. People like to hate on ND but if they win 10-11 games, they will be in. Army and Navy are intriguing pair. If one goes 12-0, they are in. If the other is 11-1, then they will get some consideration. Especially if it is Navy who is playing a more difficult schedule than Army for the most part. How much consideration does the SECCG loser get if they are 10-3 or 9-4? Will be interesting to see how that shakes out.

It's likely worse to get into the SECCG (if you lose) than to get into it... assuming you enter 10-2 or 9-3.
pancho
we could possibly the reg season # 3 SEC team actually be seeded higher than the team who loses the SECCG
MSTSatchmo
Of course if a team gets in the SECCG at 9-3, the rest of the teams would have to have 3 losses or more with the exception of A&M and LSU. So where in the polls would those 3 loss teams be? It could cut down on the number of SEC teams in the playoffs. It definitely has the potential to be a crazy season in SEC play.
