That’s what I mean he just has more talent all over the field at 2A-3A. That’s usually not the case at the bigger classification. You will have talent but so will the opponent so you and your staff have to do a good job coaching. An example of where that didn’t happen was the East Webster game this season. Again I could be wrong but the football championships would have came with Casey Herrington playing I believe Ishee was the coach. South Pike got Carter in South state I believe. Carter was the QB for NEJ in 1995 that lost to McComb 14-13 for the 4A South State Championship on infamous two point conversion call. Carter was also Dandy Dozen selection pre-season of 1995 and signed with Southern Miss. I think they already have their man and it will be just a formality once Hankins is out of the way. From what I understand too is that Hankins was told he would have to go to the classroom for the rest of his contract and he didn't show back up to the school. Maybe he's using leave and sick time I'm not sure. Something's happened because his usual elbow rubbing buddies are testy as hell. It won't be Daryl Carter. Although Hathorne would love it. Somebody at the basketball game asked him if he was one of the candidates for the next supt and he tried to smile but he just looked like a trapped possum showing his teeth. He has wrecked every youth sport at the high school except basketball and will get it next if he isn't put out to pasture.
