How do they play these Jamboree games?  Is it like another Spring Game Scrimmage where they can do whatever the coaches agree upon?

When Hattiesburg hosted. a jamboree it was mostly a 3 team jamboree which equaled each team playing a 4qtr game but each team played the other for two qtrs each.

There’s def a lot of hype around the transfer from what I’ve seen.

Interesting to see a kid come from a big hs football state like GA to play for a team in MS who hasn’t won a championship in 100 years. Makes me wonder if his team wasn’t good or he wasn’t going to start or something. Otherwise why change states

He transferred into Milton from Milwaukee to be the guy. Then Milton had a transfer apparently move in from St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida who was going to be their QB1 so Hattiesburg was able to gain from that situation.

Maybe he just wants to pass to the no.1 WR in the country

Then he must not be “the guy” if someone else can choose to move states (like he did) and come take his spot that easily

... and he bounced at the first evidence of serious competition.  Didn't even try to compete for it. That'd be a red flag to me.

Might be a great find - Wisconsin top to Georgia (top until STA QB shows up) to MS mid... no, Hattiesburg isn't top 10. We'll see. Hope he does well, but the whole rigmarole stinks of HS NIL

Coach Lacey coach in Georgia from Alabama who knows alot of coaches and players it probably was already plan for QB Brayln to move to Hattiesburg.

I mean this in a respectful way. But there is almost 0% chance a kid who is starting at Milton, GA would make the decision to transfer to Hattiesburg. You’re comparing programs on two completely different levels. Brayln went to Milton to be the guy, most likely got beat out (by a 6’1 220 transfer from STA in Florida) and his folks started shopping around. It’s definitely a gain for Hattiesburg, but I highly doubt that kid leaves Milton if he was the starting QB

Having the no.1 WR in the country probably helped make that decision easier to go to HHS

I am sure it did, but the point still stands. If he was QB1 at a powerhouse program like Milton in a huge football state like Georgia, I do not think he is playing for Hattiesburg HS. Tristen Keys or not. Obviously Lacey has connections and was able to get in contact with his people and got him in there. Which is great for Hattiesburg because it probably answered their biggest question mark offensively.
