If the OC from Hattiesburg gets the Bay job, then who does Hattiesburg get? Their current DC or someone else on staff?
Coastsportsguy1357
The current OC and DC have both been a head coach. I would think they go that route, with Lala being the front runner.
coastfootballfanman
If French is in the board, I think they would be dumb not to go after him. If he is not, Lala would be a good option. He has a lot of experience. I would also give Lampley at OS a ring as well.

As far as the research goes, majority of these coaches have some sort of “research” in their past.
RMcCormick66
The bigger question is who would be willing to endure that job. Would have to be a glutton for punishment.

Everyone has a legit shot at that job. He left one HC job "to be with family" so HC responsibilities are still demanding on one's time and family so we will see. It will definitely be an uphill battle for anyone that gets it
coastfootballfanman
Word I received last night was that if the AD and Principal get what they want, it will be Cagnolatti or Lala.

He was still residing over in east Jackson County and commuting to Bay St. Louis every day. He has a young son and just had a newborn at the end of the 2023 season and said the commute and time was taking a toll on family so he wanted to get back closer to home.
