Bulldogs4
Not sure about Meridian being #8 in 6A. We are certainly improved but the end of last season was very disappointing. We had a decent chance to make the playoffs. Injuries were an issue but all teams experience injuries. Depth is very much a problem. I hope we have more numbers this year. The roster was very thin last year.

Deonte3455
I got my eyes sought on Laurel. I give Ryan Earnest a lot of flack that he won’t get much done without the kids to do it, this year he has the kids to do it and they WILL light up the scoreboard.

Jaylen Aborom who’s one of the better DBs in the state literally just got an offer from MSU 3 days ago. Andrew Maddox Is in the 25 class for that matter. And he has offers from Texas, Bama, Arky, OM etc. The only other one I’m aware of is Jalen Owens in the 24 class with an Austin Peay offer. mout25
6'3" 195 Meridian WR/Safety,Quindarrius Jones, just committed to Florida State. Say what you will about Meridian, but over the years we have kids that have gotten some great scholarships from some good Power 5 schools. mout25
It's head scratching that schools like West Point,OG,Picayune,Louisville etc. don't have more kids that go to Power 5 schools relative to the amount of winning they do. I'm not saying they don't have any going, but it seems there should be more with how they win.

Dubaction
Lack of camp attendance, grades, and I think as far as OG we goes there’s been some years we’ve had some really good ball clubs and really good high school talent as a collective but not necessarily Power 5 talent level players. FBdude
99.9% of kids just aren’t power 5 players camp or no camp.
Dubaction
We’ve definitely had our share go D1….and it’s a decently long list. Power 5 the list gets shorter.

It's basically Brandon and Oak Grove then everyone is fighting for 3rd hoping for 2nd with an upset or 3 way tie who knows.

The winner of Brandon-OG is going undefeated in region play. Nobody else will come within 10pts of those two in region play. Go ahead and make plans to be at Brandon or at OG the Friday after Thanksgiving.
