Blake
A few weeks ago Corral was a Heisman favorite, but I'm wondering if the state's best college football player might not come down to the Egg Bowl. Do you think it's still in Corral's pocket or is it up for grabs?
Bulldogs4
I would say Corral is still the favorite. Rogers is having a great year but Corral has been playing at a consistently high level. I say that regardless of how the Egg Bowl turns out.
rebmus
If the Connerly Trophy vote was today, Corral and shouldn't be close. We'll see what happens the next two weeks though. 2 other names that should be considered: Sam Williams and Charles Cross. I'd put both of these ahead of Rogers and Cross ahead of Williams. Dawg83
Corral probably wins it either way but from a production standpoint it’s an interesting comparison. Corral has the better QBR but Rogers is ahead in total offense, total TD’s, and completion percentage. If State wins the Egg Bowl and Rogers has a huge game, it would not be the most shocking thing in the world for this trophy. Wallace over Banks in 2012 was 100% based on the Egg Bowl, no other justification for it.
MSTSatchmo
Corral, but closer than you’d think, especially if Rogers has another insane stat line in the Egg Bowl and Corral has a bad game.

Dawg83
If we are being honest Corral’s EB stat line wasn’t anything special. A couple of clutch throws and scrambles but the numbers were pretty unremarkable. But Rogers was merely OK too, and didn’t get much help from his WR’s or OL.
