pancho Posted June 9, 2022 Share Posted June 9, 2022 The only public thing concerning this is the letter to the editor of the Daily Journal by a football player parent whose son transferred there and saying his kid did nothing wrong because the reporter had listed the names of transfers in the article that dealt with the 2 coaches being let go. There has been no mention as to whether the school has paid the $5000 MHSAA fine and there has been no comment from any school official either. The rumor is that TCPS had convinced more than 1 Tupelo football player to come to TCPS and the Tupelo HC filed a complaint with the MHSAA complete with text message records between all involved parties.
