Blake
I know they have 21 seniors on this team, so I have my doubts they'll maintain a similar level of dominance. But do we expect them to still be one of the top teams in MAIS or possibly the whole state in the seasons to come?
pancho
Not unless they have a fresh group of similarly talented transfers.

Wareaglefan1us
No they won’t have an entire starting group transfer in
MadisonReb10
No. Look at the 3 years prior to the transfers. 4-6, 4-7, and 2-7. Schools cancelling for Covid helped them and they will be back to having losing records against 2A and 3A private schools like they were when this group graduates. TheAnswer
Nope. And am I the only tired of Rick Cleveland and his son slobbering all over GCS?

TheAnswer
And on another note, the coaches are getting entirely too much credit in this situation. The kids are earning it and deserve this success despite the lack of coaching. The subpar coaching almost cost them the game vs Oak Grove and did against the Georgia team. There isn't an easiest coaching job in that state. Also, the articles are complete trash. The guy is using these kids to further himself by writing these hack articles
MSTSatchmo
Just curious, what public schools are those transfers from? I’m still impressed that they beat Oak Grove.

Greenwood, Leflore Co, Yazoo Co, kid from Memphis, and 3 from Louisiana if the stories are true

Prior to the 25 or so transfers they had about 15-20 to a grade... Now they have 21 senior football players
