    Noxapator

What’s the deal with Noxapater? I see they are looking for a new athletic director/head football coach.
  4. I know this old but I’m just now seeing this. No, CH is definitely not the most talented team in Georgia. It would be Buford, Colquitt County, Grayson, or Lowndes.
  5. OG got caught up in the athlete battle instead of playing OG football. The way you beat a team like GCS is make them play discipline football for 4 quarters. At one point their DEs started running up the field. That when a heavy dose of off tackle counters and powers should have been used.
  6. I get that but I know Lenny personally. He is not the type of guy to continue to put up big points against his opponents when he already has a comfortable lead. If he’s running the dive up the middle with the 2nd string guys and you don’t stop it that’s on you.
  7. What I am saying is he will try not to score once he gets a big lead. If he's up 42-7 he won't purposely keep scoring. He's a Mormon.
  8. Knowing how Collins Hill coach operates I would have to disagree with you. They won’t be flashy and he won’t score over 42 points against anybody. It’s his philosophy.
  9. I coach high school football in Georgia, and I will tell you guys that it’s a different brand of football over here. It’s more of a college level coaching style. Collins Hill has the #1 ranked player in the country, but instead of just giving him the ball and letting him take over their coaches would rather beat you with a scheme. GCS was eventually going to run out of gas because of depth, and CH was going to run the ball down GCS throat when they did. CH dresses around 80 but they have a total of over 140 players including 9th grade and JV. Their JV serves as the scout team during the week. The reason Travis Hunter is ranked #1 is because he has great camp results, athleticism, and discipline. Now to GCS vs. Oak Grove. Do I think GCS can be them. No, I don’t but it will be a great 1st half match up. Oak Grove will have more depth and more coaching. I will say the same thing here I told some guys on Facebook. GCS will have one good WR while OG will have 4. OG will rotate players in on both sides of the ball when GCS players are playing iron man football. The lack of depth will eventually catch up with them. Disclaimer: I’m not saying Mississippi high school football coaches don’t scheme. I’m saying I see it more here in Georgia.
  10. Buy - I’ll step away from the Bulldogs and Rebs buy and sell, and I will predict Coach O is out at LSU after this season.
  11. A couple things hurt Hill draft stock. The first thing is he definitely should have declared after his Jr season. Secondly, whatever happened this year whether it was his choice to opt out due to Covid family related reasons or issues with the direction of the program hurt him tremendously. Lastly, this hurt a lot of the guys as well but the changing of the coaching staff. This years class had 3 different head coaches, staffs, and philosophies. Believe it or not that hurt those guys bad. I forgot to mention that the flag ordeal might have played a part in it as well with Hill.
  12. I coach high school football in Georgia, and it has really had an affect on high school kids this year due to covid. Then the NCAA granted a extra year of eligibility for current student athletes. I usually communicate with about 100 college coaches per year. This past year cycle I might have been contacted by 35 coaches. I had 5 to sign this cycle, but we typically sign around 12 a year. We are a large school, so I can only imagine how bad the 1A-3A kids have been affected.
  13. Tupelo has been playing booster club kids consistently since the 2000 season. The few years Hammond had success he got away from it and you see he’s no longer there. If Hardin can break that tradition he will be great at Tupelo. Until then it will be more of the same. The most talented kids don’t even come out to play football because of this and it has been like that for years.
  14. I respect your opinion on your list, but I’m not sold on Tupelo. The Golden Wave had a few solid years under Hammond, but they haven’t really been relevant since the late 90s. I graduated and played football at Tupelo but until the coaches actually play the real talent over the booster club kids they will be the same full of talent team that gets put out 1st or 2nd round of the playoffs.
  15. That’s pretty decent stats for a high school QB in Mississippi. Majority of high school QB don’t manage to get past 2000 passing yards in a season. To get past 2500 that means a team is more than likely slinging the ball around a lot. Take into account that this is still high school which means receivers aren’t sure handed just yet.
